For anyone who knows Hank, he likes to wash his own clothes. He has an entire science on washing..the whole stain stick, spray and wash , water softener, downy and dryer sheets...Too much for me to even think about. So he does his own laundry most of the time. ..Ok, need I tell you that we are here in China and there are no laundromats. You drop your clothes off at a local souvenir store and they charge you by the piece to wash it. I told Hank I was washing my own clothes ..he was like "no way" I am having mine done..I told him to knock himself out. So he drops off his clothes, picks it up, all nicely packaged ...He comes in the room whistling a tune, takes a shower...puts on his shirt..I hear a few choice words coming out of the bathroom. I run to see what he is complaining about..his shirt smells like a** and is still dirty..spaghetti sauce still on his shirt. He is confident that they washed it in their toilet...
I cant even type this post , as I am laughing my butt off. As for me, I am enjoying the fresh clean smell of my hand washed blouse...

Hi Rina,
It is 7:30 am on a Monday morning and I have just discovered that I am able to post comments back to you--yes, I am blond! Well sort of--
I have been reading your blog each day and I have been crying and laughing at the same time--you are hysterical and I wish I was fly on your hotel wall at times....
Everything seems to be going well and Myah is really doing beautifully. Just know you are all in out thoughts and prayers and we are thinking of you everyday. We can't wait until you are all safely home and with the boys--by the way, they seem to be doing really well! Which I know makes it easier for you.
Some of the stories that you have been writing have me rolling on the floor--even Fred has read them and is laughing his a-- off, he said you never change:)
I am so happy that I have discovered how to work this site--I am soooo technologically challenged--and to think I am married to a computer wiz--geesh, life would be hell if not:)
I will write again--thinking of you often....keep those beautiful pictures coming:)

I just sent myself an email to put a travel size of Tide in w/my packing supplies. Oh well.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who wants to wash my own clothes! I'll definitely be taking some detergent with me.
Rina, Myah's condition sounds so similar to what I went through when I was 3 yrs old. My "tube" from my kidneys wasn't draining into my bladder - it was clogged. So everything backflowed into my kidneys. I know I was only 3, but I remember waiting until the absolute last possible moment to go to the bathroom because it burned so badly to urinate (this is actually one of my first memories). I had surgery to fix the "tube" and have had no more problems since - some 33 years later! I post all of this just as an FYI to check into. Good luck!
Thanks Jen,
My physicians at home think that is what it is. Kidney reflux...She will be admitted into the childrens hospital to get a full head to toe evaluation...She has been on antibiotics for 3 days now. Thanks to my pediatrician, she sent me with medication for every possible ailment. She seems to be doing better , she is wetting but not as much as I would like her to...

Every man should have his laundry washed in Chinese sewage every now and then...
I am cracking up too!! Sounds like fun for a while, but probably all will be really happy to get home.
She gets cuter with every picture. You can actually see the happiness growing inside her. How precious is that??
Rina,
thanks for the visual aid..we just got our laundy back and I'm getting ready to wear one of the outfits in the morning...great! No sending out of "personal" items though! just t-shirts!
You have been a joy to meet and your blog is so full of happiness - and your boys are the cutest! Hoping Mya is feeling OK - glad you had the anibiotics.

Okay, since I have been there and done that and could never get my clothes to dry, how did you get yours to dry. I even travelled in January. Nothing would dry. It took days and I finally sent the still damp socks and sports bra to the cleaners. We never had an issue with our clothes smelling like A$$.
