Day 7

Good morning. We have a free day today. We decided to go to see a Chinese/English service at the Shamian Church. I knew Tracy would like to attend so I called her hotel. When she picked up the phone I pretended I was the reception desk and in my Chinglish I told her that she owed the hotel $3,413 more. She told me that she was with an adoption agency and that everything was prepaid. I continued my plea and demanded the money..this went on for a minute before I couldnt hold in the laughter...

We all met up here at the White Swan hotel and to my surprise Myah went right to her. Myah hasn't allowed many people to hold her. This surprised us. Tracy and I will meet up once she gets Bree for their reunion.

Myah had a rough time last night cried for 30 minutes before going to sleep. During the night hse would yelp..I am assuming her UTI infection is catching up to her. I believe when she trickles out some urine it burns. I started her on amoxicillin that I bought from home. I gave her her first dose last night. Hopefully the 10 days will bring down the bacteria infection.

Yesterday was a nice little break through. As I was taking a shower, Myah stood in front of the mirror using my blush brush and combing her hair...and while doing that she started singing a song. It was so cute. I didnt want her to see me watching her but she knew the lyrics and was bobbing her head. She is coming out of her shell everyday.

I made a paper linked chain out of contruction paper for the boys. We numbered each link 1-14. Every morning they get up and rip off a link and then count how many lore days until we get home. It puts a nice visual to our journey. Boys dont forget to rip another link off. Our journey is 1/2 over...Counting the days boys until I see you...
