Today we went to Yuexiu park. Is was extremely hot today. The Park has a gazillion steps to get to different levels. Each level had local elderly doing their tai chi exercises in the early morning by the park's three lakes. On each level you could find groups dancing or playing hackysack. One of the pictures you will see Hank getting into a game .
Today I received my disposable camera that I sent to the orphanage months ago. I ran to the photo shop to develop it and when I picked it up I was given the best gift ever. My entire roll consisted of pictures of Myah with her playmates Bree and Emily. I immediately sent them to Vicki and Tracy who are in the States. They are traveling this month to adopt Bree and Emily. We are very excited that all 3 will be leaving the orphanage this month. We plan on the girls remaining friends and meeting at Disney for reunions.
Many locals thank us for adopting Myah, which blows me away. I can cry at a drop of a dime. Most want to get in a picture. We seem to draw a crowd everywhere we go.
We later went to the Shamian Medical Center for Myah'a medical exam. She did very well. She was holding back her tears and her chin was quivering but she didnt cry. Such a trooper. She weighed 25 lbs and 2 1/2feet tall.

Rina,
What a wonderful surprise and gift on the day that we depart for China! Bree looks so much smaller than Myah (I may be in trouble with clothes as well). Emily is so lively and adorable. Thank you so much for getting these out to us.
See you very soon-we get into GZ at 11p on the 15th. Hopefully we can get together on the 17th and then again after we receive Bree (the 18th). You are making this look very easy! love Tracy
Tracy,
We your hotel is down the street from us...We can meet for thai food. We're at the Swan Hotel room 1137.
ps.Not sure if you have a hip hammock for Bree. Many of the places we went sightseeing do not allow strollers. YOu will have to carry her. I have a friend borrowing my hip hammock which holds Myah with no problem..you might need to borrow it too.
Safe flight...
I really appreciate you sharing your story/photos with us. I look forward every morning checking in to see new photos. Each day that you upload new photos - you can see the happiness coming out in Myah's eyes. You can definetely see that she is bonding with you both and loves her Mommy and Daddy!! I love that she wears necklaces and carries a purse!!! Oh by the way - last night Mark was like "SOMEONE IS AT HANK'S HOUSE WATCHING HIS TV" - ready to go over and check out the situation - I calmed him down and let him know it was family!!!!!
I look forward to reading your blog everyday! I feel like I know Myah!! Keep the pics coming - she really looks happy!

Finally catching up on your blog!! We have been struggling with jet lag but are finally feeling back on track. Myah is just too adorable! I have enjoyed so much reading your blog. Anna Li has enjoyed the pictures. It took us the full two weeks to adjust to the hard beds and China time. It has taken us a full week to adjust back to our comfy beds and Bama time!! I am so happy for all of you:)
God Bless,
Kristy
Hey Reen-
Regarding hi-chair, consider using a well-built booster as it'll support her while also allowing her to build balance slowly w/o falling. She might be overqualified for the hi-chair since she already has a solid backbone. Pics are great- she's beautiful- kids log in all the time- (yesterday looked hot!!) Meanwhile, Boys are doing great...did $$$ shopping yesterday and spoiled them rotten....

**The switch turned on the surge protector - no worries.
Annette,
Thanks so much for getting back to us on the surge protector. Hank was having a baby, literally. He is very attached to his 60 inch tv. Watch your purse with the boys, they surely know where they get their bread buttered.
Rina
Annette, booster will be fien too..

ps..I cant tell you the laughing going on here in China on your expense. Luv ya...and thanks for spoiling the boys
Very interesting to find out some places don't allow strollers - nice little tidbit. Myah is such a cutie! Love following your journey!
Dude - don't laugh on my expense in CHINA - after living thru a honeymoon in TURKEY (paid for by my mother in law....) I had to wear a scarf over my face for 1 week, couldn't touch my husband, and had to sleep in twin beds... China - no problem! Myah's complexion is so beautiful - a stunning face to look at! Kids log on soo many times to get a new glimpse (oh, and I spoiled her too!) - If u want me to help change your return flights so you're not inconvenienced with seat size - let me know. Keep the pics coming - we love her! Yimu Tee Tee is waiting! OOXXOOXX
