We slept 4 hours on a bed that was so hard but to tell you the truth it was actually very nice. My back does not hurt at all. Now don't go all crazy and think I am giving up my polyposturepedic king size bed at home..
it's 6am and I just finished showering. I bought Myah her own roll suitcase packed with toys, bubbles, coloring books and snacks...I am adding last minute items...
I am praying that this isn't too traumatic for her. She has left her orphanage already and is heading over to us by train (5 hr train ride) with the orphanage director. I am sure she is scared and crying. Please lets hope she feels a connection to me...not right away, but I at least by the time she goes to bed tonight. I plan on taking her right back to the hotel and giving her a bath. I need to check for lice, scabies ect...
Ok, you guys know I hate the color pink....really hate the color pink..but this isn't about me..(can you believeI said that) So I hung up her clothes in the closet and I am trying to decide what she would want to wear after her bath. I naturally tend toward the color black...but this isnt about me, remember...
I never had to do this...pick an outfit out..my boys are so simple...shorts and a tee and you're done...I am kinda liking this feeling ...and can you believe I am accessorizing her outfit..I have 2 purses to choose from.....
Ok, I am off to get our Daughter..next time we get online we will be the parents to 4 children
3 conceived in my womb and 1 in our hearts..this is so surreal
Boys, keep posted for pictures of your sister....

YOU MADE IT!!! By the time you read this you will have your beautiful Myah! I am so excited for you. I have butterflies just thinking about it and knowing that a week from today we will have Bree as well!! Can you remark on the weather? Unbearably hot and humid I assume. Gosh, I cannot wait to get to China now that I have read your blogs. xo Tracy
Ya Hoo!!! Yep. When you read this you'll be juggling one busy little female on your lap. How wonderful to know that you are "there". It IS surreal...even to read your posts. You two better rock that China soil. Ya'll are more entertainment than the 2008 Olympics opening show. HA! This is fabulous hearing from you almost live as you trek through the adventure of getting Myah. Big Hugs and Lotsa Mississippi Love, Vicki (who WILL be calling the doc tomorrow for some medication for the flight)
your daughter is beautiful! congratulations!
I guess I only cry in life and death situations. Up until two minutes ago, the last time I cried was at my grandma's funeral. You three look so happy - like the happiest people on the planet. The world is officialy now a better place. is it even appropriate to say I'm proud of you? Best of Luck!!!! I watched "Juno" last night, and thought about you constantly.
