I'm On My Way-Just Set Me Free- Home Sweet Home
I am ending this trip with the picture that started it.....
.........................................................
Today we were offically DISCHARGED from the hospital..Are we done..well , NO!
But the remaining surgeries and tests can be done locally with the support of our family and friends..
As for my Blogosphere friends..
I want to thank you for all those who came forward..(cards, balloons, emails, comments, calls gifts and prayer) ..
We have had almost 17,000 hits on my blog....WOW! Who would of "thunk" that anyone would really want to read my journaling and could tolerate my dry humor...
but this is not the end....Please continue to follow our journey..who knows ..our paths might pass oneday ..until then ...you know where to find us..
Our flight is tomorrow at 8pm..arriving in sunny Florida at midnight...
I chose this song because that where we'll be HOME SWEET HOME....
Special thanks to my mom and my dad for really pulling their weight as grandparents...They did it all with a smile...when I know at times they wanted to pull their hair out (mom would never admit that). From pick ups , to drop offs, to sports, to field trips, to outtings and dinners...Thank you...I owe you (ok no nursing home for you guys)....
My husband Hank who works 80 miles away from home (each way) did an outstanding job. My greatest fear in life is that I would die before him and he simply couldn't manage...well ok, I cant lie, I still feel that..but you still did a good job..So proud of you!
Also thanks to the Gruners who purchased our airline tickets and Ms. Angie with hotel accomodations (Marriott)..
To my boys....my heart is heavy and so is my suitcase with all your gifts...mommy got you one gift for everyday I was gone...Get ready for the wet willy attacks...
MOMMA IS COMING HOME! Put the coffee on....

Farewell from Cincinnati!! Sorry it was not a good experience for you, but outside the city is pretty nice! I'm a New Englander and moved her 3 years ago and find it quite nice. Anyway, have a safe trip home with little Myah!!
I know you are over the moon to be somewhat in the time frame of heading home. I'm happy for you but do realize that this is Round One of a few. Of course people want to follow what you have to say. And with others linking their blog to yours...well, it goes without explanation that people do care. Your dry wit helps keep people interested in what you post, and then again...Myah is a treasure -- as are all your kiddos.
Haul that bag through security, don't take pics in the airport and get tapped on the shoulder, and for cryin' out loud -- stop the detergent smuggling ring. It may be time for rehab. "Hi. My name is Rina, and I smuggle Tide."
I'm suspecting you'll have a wonderful weekend - come rain or shine.
Good for you!!
Luv, Vicki
Hurray, You get to go home.. Good bye to Horror Manor. You scared the crap out of me when you said you walked to WalGreens, Knowing how bad the area around Hospital Hill is I would have opted for the scary cab ride.. Let me tell you that you have more balls than me .LOL
Vicki, ..See, you're funny..I laughed so hard..you have it in you to be a wise ass.I loved it..
Nicole, no balls here...I failed to mention that at the age of 38 I still called my mother blubbering like i was 5 years old...my knees were knocking, palms were sweating,no saliva in my mouth and and the runs..literally run through me...I got a loud bark but no bite...But we survived..
Elizabeth oneday I would love to see the nice parts of Cincinatti...with every place, there's the good and the bad...I just got stuck in the worst...
