My door bell rang and it was my friend Margaret Gray. I am sure many of you remember me posting about Margaret about a year ago.
Margaret is an Award winning artist. She told me that she was raffling off her painting- The painting of Ibis, "Surf's Up" which is a framed 30"x24" oil painting, with a value of $2,000.00.
Of course I would buy a raffle to have one of her paintings....but when I looked at her raffle ticket it had a picture of Myah on it....and it simply said
"FOR MYAH"..
She was raffling off her award winning painting that was recently displayed in the art gallery here in Florida to raise money for Myah... she was selling tickets for $10 each and proceeds will go toward Myah's surgeries.
What does one say? Margaret is such an impressive person, she is an inspiration to me and I'm so glad to have her as my friend. Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting. God has surrounded me with such great friends and supportive family..who all have wings tucked under their shirts..But you can't fool me...If it looks like an angel, and flies like an Angel..ITS AN ANGEL !
I learned that in helping others, we shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle and comes back to us..this holds true..as things come full circle..
We thank our friends for thinking of Myah, as we face a long road ahead of us...We leave for Cincinatti Childrens Hospital in March for more surgery....
