My girlfriend Liza called and asked to come over after work one night....and of course, you know what my response was..."Sure, don't mind the mess"

to our surprise she showed up with a beautiful knitted blanket for Myah. The woman from her church make them. The blankets are to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets , lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers".


well let me put it this way folks..she loves this blanket. She has never attached to an object since she has been home..but guess what...she has now..

I thank my friends who surround me and show such compassion and thoughtfulness...I often feel that I am not as involved in their lives but I can barely keep it together.

Special thanks to Kalood for dropping off a big bag of gifts with a teddy bear and Amy who showed up with ringpops and a cluster of balloons...
