We went to Margaret Grey house tonight to do the drawing of the raffle..but we sort of got side tracked because she had cookies, donuts, shrimp and dip....
Her Painting of "Surf's Up" was gorgeous and on display for all to see

Myah mixed the tickets real well
and she picked one...
And the winner is ...(drum roll please) ....well maybe I will wait until the end of this post to say who the winner is..the suspense is killing you isnt it...?
This is the woman , the artist and my firend Margaret. Who saw a family in need and stepped up to the plate. We are truly fortunate to have such great friends. She was a one woman show down here in Stuart, Florida who went door to door, went to all of her friends and family and sold tickets...all of this was a surprise to us...We had no idea she spearheaded this raffle until after it was in production. Many thanks to our friends here in Legacy Cove..they all showed compassion.
And then there is Emily's family/friends. Emily is Myah's China sister. She saw her sister was in need and her friends and family pulled through. I met new people, people I did not know, people who knew us and my kids just by following blog. The donations were flowing from Mississippi and Anne was our team leader up there...
My son loved this picture...can you guess why?
Well maybe I will let you know who won tomorrow..I am awefully tired ...yawn...goodnight!
