Dear Mitchell (aka Squishy Mitchy and Bear)
Today you turn 6 years old. Born on St. Patrick's Day and yes, you were born lucky. Everything about you is so NOT age appropriate. YOu do and act older than a 6 year old. You talk with a Bronx accent and refer to me as your MUTHA and Myah as your SISTA.. I am so proud to say you know the difference between polyester and pure cotton. You are amazingand by golly you can open your arms up to the biggest hugs in the world. Everyone that stumbles across your path confirms what I believe. Your love completes us.
You love.... dolphins, sea-horses, sharks, dinosaurs, sting-rays, reptiles and bugs. May you hold onto you glorious imagination for the rest of your life. I will always be there watching you with such admiration. I am honored to have you as MY son....
I am so so so sorry I am not there with you today..the day you came into the world..the day you made me a mother for the 3rd time..Today I celebrate with you ...thousands of miles away...
