Trails of TEARS !

To My Sister Emily,

We were so close, hands clasps together, our knuckles snowcap white..
I thought we lost each other forever when space and freedom spread our fingers apart.
Not knowing how to catch again....

Today I feel every mile elongated as they stretch over state lines..
I celebrate you and love you deeply...

Our story was selected for the State of Florida..To some its a good read..but for me its both happiness and sorrow...
