being transported from 1 hospital to another
she's not happy..
daddy sat by her bed during the day
and mommy slept in her bed at night...the nurses were calling me Morris the cat...I wasnt leaving her side..we shared a pillow..I wasnt leaving her....
always ready with a smile
Well....the one time Hank and I go away...the crap hits the fan...As we docked from our cruise getaway my mother told me that Myah wasnt eating, had joint pain and lesions on her ankles...
So we rushed back to town, went to the doctors and she sent us right away to the Emergency room...Fast forward...Myah contracted a virus called HSP. Not a problem if she didnt have kidney issues to begin with.
they admitted her into the hospital but then decided to transport her from 1 hospital to another hospital 40 minutes away...once there they put her in PICU...
They were concerned because her kidney levels were effected and the lesions she had on her ankles were also on her kidney..she had an infection and urine had white blood cells in it.....they kept her in ICU for a few days but released her today...we will follow through with a renal clinic in Monday...
Thanks for all the prayers and support....

Oh wow! scary stuff, Rina! So happy that Myah is okay and sorry that your time away ended with such a shock! I hope everyone gets some much needed rest and Myah continues to heal up. If I lived closer I would have loved to help out. I know you have a great support system there though and I will be praying for you all!
Oh, Rina!! Only YOU!!! What a great mom you are -- finding a way to "sleep" in that bed -- I imagine you didn't get much rest -- but what a great way to show Myah that you really were staying close to her! i pray you both will get some rest this week now that she is better.
Love and prayers!
Oh my! You are ALL in my thoughts and prayers!
OMGosh Rina! Bless that sweet child's heart!
I've been lifting you guys up in prayers and will continue to do so. Hope that Myah is doing better. I will continue to pray for complete healing.
I'm just sitting here in disbelief trying to wrap my head around what all you've faced - what Myah has been challenged with in her short, precious life.
Emily was asking about her. She wanted to know what was going on. I explained that it had to do with what she knew about Myah when they were in China. She said, "Ohhhhh...."
We love ya'll so much. I know there is a whole undercurrent of life that is being lived - not voiced. Just know that we realize this and we'll continue to stand with your family always.
Much love,
Vicki
They say God doesnt give you anything you couldnt handle...I say I wish he didnt trust me as much
WOW. Hopefully all is stable. I have to admit, you do look like Morris in that one pic! Lets just pray this condition runs its course uneventfully!
