This week I received an email for our Pastors assistant Debbi. She wanted to know how we were and if we were ready to introduce Myah to the Church. During our emails back and forth she asked if we were intrested in doing a cardboard testimony. So we planned on going on Sunday and of course we would do a cardboard tesimony. Well just pulling up to church was very emotional for me. I prayed for this child and my prayers were answered. Grace Place has taught me about patience and faith. Although I didnt understand all the misfortune we were faced with I learned not to question it, I wasn't driving..I was just along for the ride.
We have had so much help, love, support and prayer from complete strangers. I went shopping in Walgreens yesterday and I had a couple come up to me asking how Myah was and that they loved my blog. I am blown away by how kind people are and how our adoption sparked a community.
Well I was caught off guard today at church. Pastor John welcomed us back from China and introduced Myah...He asked us to stand up so everyone can see Myah...Ok, open the flood gates..the tears are flowing, the nose is dripping the knees are wobbling...Everyone was clapping. I never knew what a frog in your throat meant..I did today. My boys were so proud of their sister and I of them. The energy in church was huge.
God has been good to us. We thank our family at Grace Place and especially thank Pastor Rob and Jean who simply told us at dinner one night to leave it up to HIM and not to worry...
You were right...
