The countdown begins...

I have been running around trying to get last minute details done before I leave with Myah for 3 weeks. I had to make hotel arrangements, car service arrangements, get all her medical records together, copies of all her lab work put on CD, get winter clothes for her and bring everything and anything she would possible need (diapers, tylenol, socks, Pj's, toys snacks). I will be without a car , so I want to be prepared.

On the other hand I also have to make sure I have a plan in place for my 3 boys while I am gone. From school drop offs, to school pick ups, sport practices, sport games, homework, outfits for school, school field trips ect...
I know I have to just leave and let things fall into place...and nothing will be perfect..but as you all know..nobody does it as good as Mommy!
I began packing my stuff too..camera, chargers, webcam, clothes, crossword puzzles..
Three weeks is a long time..a long time away from my husband and my kids...I NEVER ventured out on my own..this is a true test. A test of strength and courage, which I have none of when I am not with my family.
I have been trying to do as much as possible with the kids..parties, toys r us, reading books, games...
As all of my cyber friends know I have a FEAR of flying.....and of all times I sit down to watch tv and I watched the plane go down in NYC..All survived...What a miracle...So I am trying to tackle one obstacle at a time...the first is saying goodbye to my kids...I hate goodbyes...I cant even drive by an airport without crying..It strikes a cord in me..
Again..I leave on Jan 26th...

I just found your blog through the CHI Yahoo group. I'll be following along to hear how Myah is doing. And remember when you're traveling, your family will be with you in your heart, so you can do whatever you need to! You'll be fine. :)
