Ok...here we go with the routine postings...Sorry I have been MIA for awhile..just soaking up the sun and enjoying the holidays with my kids..
Xmas was simply magical. Everything was a first...To see Myah and wander what she was thinking inside her little head. Her awe of the xmas tree, wondering why we are decorating the house, to see us singing songs and baking cookies..well she loved it..But it was a first for the boys too..They wanted to give everything to Myah..simply because she never had it before...a ball, their gifts..ect...Xmas morning Myah was not to crazy about the opening of gifts but more concerned with the mess we were making on the floor with the wrapping paper...
As for her health....Well Myah and I will fly into Ohio Cincinatti on Jan 27th...We are working with 4 surgeons..She is scheduled to have 4 surgeries while at the Childrens hospital. I am working with a case nurse manager and getting everything lined up..Our stay is approx. 3 weeks.
We received a wonderful blessing by our friends...
Our friends Mark and Sheila passed on to us vouchers for Southwest airlines to help with the cost of our journey. We were deeply moved...but it was short lived. Southwest does not fly to Cincinatti. We were all disapponted...
A few days later our friends Leon and Bonnie passed by and told us that they wanted to bless us..And that they did..Leon and Bonnie paid for 2 round trip tickets to Ohio for Myah and I. Simply no words. I was scouting around but the cost was around $650 and was waiting for a sale...but to our surprise..We were blessed...Thank You..Thank You....
I will post daily updates and video's ..Please pray thatI am strong enough to leave my 3 boys and thatI have the support Myah needs to get her through 4 surgeries. I am learning so much from this little girl...She has taught me about courage, sacrifice and love...We began as 2 strangers but became an instant family...So glad she is my daughter...I love MYAH GIRL!
