Let's try this again...

This is Myah smiling because she out smarted the medical staff

In recovery

She ripped off her bandage to her PICC but PICC remained in..PHEW

This is what mommy's hair looks like after not showering or applying makeup for 2 days..

.................................................................................................................................
Ok, after last nights drama we woke up this morning tracing our steps from yesterday...
They took Myah down to the operating room at 11am...the surgeon decided not to pit the PICC in her arm or neck...they tunneled it from her groin ...
They transported her to recovery and as she was waking up..she went right for the PICC and ripped her bandage right off...The PICC remained inside..PHEW...

The nurse downstairs decided to call the doctor and have her on mild sedation to calm her down. She was the 1st intelligent person I came across...Myah is sleeping right n ow..1st time in 5 days...
I am sure most of you are not surprised about how I get my message across...well you most often hear me before you see me...I was gifted with the mouth...

I spoke with several department heads and I am now working with the International Adoption Department in implementing a care management program for adopted children. I wanted to make sure that families that follow me have a paved road...as for me and mt daughter well we will contunue to apply anusol.
As I sit hereI have been thinking about our trip and this might sound silly but I was thinking about my stay at the Marriott hotel...I would watch the housekeeper go in and out of the rooms and throw out 1/2 used shampoo and conditioners..I was thinking ..what a waste...but maybe not..

I am in contact with a local homeless shelter...I am trying to see if I can have the housekeepers save the shampoo /conditioners/lotions and donate them to the shelter...I have not heard back from the Marriott as of yet but I am going to continue and see if I can get other hotels on board..

To my boys..sorry you guys are sick ...blame it all on Daddy...he started it..I give you the ok to give him a noogy....until then air hugs and kisses..but I will save my wet willy for when I see you...I love you
Meanwhile I cant wait for Myah to grow up and go on the show Survivor..she would be sure to win!

So glad to hear from you -- have been checking every few minutes all day!

Continuing to pray Myah will rest in the arms of Jesus and that He will protect her mentally and emotionally while the hospital staff works to help her.

Thanks for the update!

Hey Rina. That's my friend, Anne. Isn't she wonderful. She's a prayer warrior...and she's got a posse that follows along w/her, too. LOL!
Glad to hear of the sedation for Myah. See if you can get 2 doses for the price of one. One for Myah. One for Mommy.
Yep. Survivor. It's a sure deal she'd win. Wouldn't be surprised if her 2 sidekicks from Meizhou could take #1 prize, too. I think we've not realized how MUCH their survival skills are honed to perfection. Until now -- that is. When they are under fire. I've seen it. You write about it. Tracy mentions it, too.
Charlie's Angels. We've got them in the flesh.
Luv, Vicki

I don't even know what to say ...

I'm doing everything I can to not cry as I catch up on your posts. I'm amazed by your strength, Rina!

I can't help but think all of this is happening for a reason. What Myah learned to survive in the orphanage she's using now and may need to use again someday ... the bond the two of you are going through ... the attention for adopted patients ... your heart for the homeless. Yep, God's doing so much more than getting Myah the surgical care she needs. So much more.

May you find strength anew every day. Still praying ...

A friend on our IA yahoo group posted your link. I am so glad to be able to read an honest post about what we will face in a few months. I am sorry that you have had to endure so much and I am glad that things seem to be going better. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for "paving the road" for families like ours.

So nice to finally see a big smile on Myah girl's face! You are 2/3 of the way done and it should be all downhill from here. Until then, keep kicking bootie and taking names! Oh-and I heard that they are renaming Building A, fourth floor as the Myah M-80 wing..ha ha
