waiting for vitals
she had her pick of beds
she refused to put on a gown...wasnt having it !
vein after vein, they kept blowing out
all I could do was kiss her..I felt so helpless as she screamed MOMMA
that hospital almost had 1 less nurse..I almost decked her..I mean really folks 12 sticks and no luck
they allowed her to keep her clothes on and her shoes. Hank held her in his arms as they gave her anesthesia..she gently fell asleep in his arms
Out like a light
sleep baby girl...
and the tests begin....
we're still here..we're not going anywhere..
she is waking up...
she was more concerned about where her Hello Kitty jacket was than anything else
my dumpling is awake and asking for juice...
we were sent home and now the wait begins for the results...

Why couldn't they draw the blood after the anesthesia? That makes me so mad! I hope you get good news! I'll be praying for you and that beautiful little girl!
they were trying to get an iv line in to administer the anesthesia..Grr..my question is ..why not just gas kids first, then do whatever the hec you want..but they only gas 1st when in an OR setting....
Unfortunately that is how it sometimes works in a non-children's hospital! Sure had my veins boiling reading your post. Praying for quick return on results. love tracy
