A breeze

Myah and Ronald McDonald..

ok, we dont really need a coat..its 60 degree here...but I didnt bring anything lighter than my leather jacket..

and she insists on wearing her coat and boots...

Myah gets hugs from her surgeons..she remembered them from last year...

They handed me a binder with Myah's name and it had her entire medical plan in it..everything that is expected from me and what I should expect from them...all her tests and an itinerary of our stay...

she stayed with her back toward the door..she wasnt getting near those nurses..

but once the nurses left the room she was being a ham..

until the nurse came back....

off to testing

Lollipops = smiles...momma aint no fool...

more tests....uggh...

Back to the Ronald McDonald House for lunch. Their kitchen is 5 kitchens in 1..all the food in the refirgerator is doanted by local business owners, farmers and eateries...I am amazed on how this place runs completely on volunteers..all to help those in need.

Myah loved the kitchen and couldnt wait to help me cook lunch...grilled cheese sandwich, fruit cup and milk. We all are responsible for cleaning up and putting everything in the dishwasher...
I met several familes that are here for the same exact medical issues that Myah has...3 of them being Chinese girls and 1 being a little boy from Italy. The family from Italy are staying 4 doors down from us. I offered to be thier translator since I speak fluent Italian. They are a year behind in treatment than Myah..So their current path is a path we have already taken. They have been picking my brain and taking notes on what I've been saying...Its nice to meet families that can relate and understand.
As for me...I ask a favor of all of you....when going though McDonalds drive thru- please throw your spare change in their Ronald McDonald bank...It helps so many families...It has helped us...

Sounds like so far so good. How nice that you get to share with other famiies. RMD looks awesome-much bigger than ours up here in Toledo. You got my numbers if you need anything. Praying for time to fly fast for you! Hugs and kisses Tracy
