Yes, conquered..we are leaving with a clear medical plan and an understanding of what we need to do to keep Myah in what they call a "safe zone"....at the end of the day I feel that knowledge is power and we can do what is being asked..although it will not be an easy journey but together as a FAMILY, it CAN and WILL be done..
So on Friday, Myah and I will be leaving and heading home...
So I post this picture of us hand in hand..the picture that was taken at the start of this trip..there will be ups and there will be downs but we will have each other...
And its comforting to know that even though she cant verbally talk, she knew who to call (her daddy) when she was scared and wanted to come home...And over thousands of miles away he provided comfort to her. No translator needed..Love is love is love.....
And its amazing to know that no matter how big the world is..paths do cross..this is Abby. Abby and her parents are also staying here at the Ronald McDonald House. And its ironic that Abby's mom and I met on the internet about 3 years ago when we were both going to China to adopt our girls...She has a blog, I have a blog and we both have the same adoption agency. So its amazing that we finally meet face to face and so do our daughters...
These girls were stuck together like glue as they both went through treatment together...
and then there is Mattia....Myah and Mattia were always hand in hand and hugging each other.
So at the end of this journey, we leave with HOPE and new found friends. Friends who are in the same boat as us. Its nice to exchange stories, experiences and to relate to someone who KNOWS..
We love you for filling the void of our missing family members and bless all those we leave behind..
Special thanks to our friends and family who supported us. Lucky are we....
Hank put the coffee pot on..MOMMA IS COMING HOME !
