Side-tracked

We arrived at the airport, flight was completely booked..we were waiting to board..and a couple walks up to the gate and said that they needed to get on this flight because her father passed away. So they made an announcement to see if they had any volunteers....it was at that moment that I said to myself...."Rina, keep reading your magazine, mind your business...someone else will step up to the plate".....fast forward.....nobody volunteered...

I was salivating at the thought of seeing my boys and they were counting down the hours for my arrival...but I couldnt get on that plane...

I told the guy that I needed my suitcase pulled off the plane because I had medical supplies (and my 2000 lashes mascara) in Myah's suitcase. He said that the plane didnt have my suitcase on it and to go down to baggage claim to get my bag...I told him that if it wasnt there he would be liable because my daughter just left Childrens Hospital....Fast forward..bag wasnt there...they called the tower and had the plane come back after being in the air for 10 minutes...

After waiting an additional hour to retrieve my bag I had to wait for a shuttle to take us to the hotel...Myah was and is so confused....I mean I kept telling her all day that we were going home...

5 hours later and we didnt get far...at least we are in Kentucky instead of Ohio..makes me feel like we traveled

dinner for 2...our wake up call is at 5 am...and we will try this again...

I went from smiling, to laughing to crying to hitting myslef on the head. I think I hit my breaking point. Its 3:30 am , stuck in Kentucky in a room that happened to be over the banquet hall. They have some Polka dance going on down there. And I am sitting here saying "why didnt I mind my business"...I think I hit my breaking point...
